Dumb name, but nice idea...
It looks like Delta is introducing staggered row seating to help alleviate the sleep deprivation problems of aisle and middle-seat passengers on long-haul transatlantic flights.
What it could be is a standardized solution to the epic shoulder-to-shoulder fight for space between tall passengers seated next to each other on any length of flight.
No idea whether this configuration helps the legroom issue at all, but at least we're a step forward on solving the upper-body space issues of tall airline passengers!
