what would julia child do?

lucky for julia, she was into food and not fashion.  how do you buy clothes in france in 1948 as a 6'2" woman??  (mail order from the usa.)  and how do you cook all stooped over in the tiny kitchens?  (raise the counters.)  my life in france was a delight, and julia child is my hero.
